Busy, but excellent itinerary.
The itinerary and experience was excellent
Be prepared for long days.
It would have been nice to have some days start later or end earlier so we could have had more down time.
CIE booked our flights. We were concerned about the lack of time between connecting flights at London Heathrow. We asked several times and were reassured that there would be no problem. We did end up missing our connection.
Sure to this connection problem, we called the CIE Booked transfer service well in advance of our pick up time in Glasgow and was rudely told by the transfer company that there was nothing they would do for us.
We ended up having to take a taxi and pay for it. We did address this with CIE through email and with our Scottish tour guide. Nothing was done by tour guide. CIE did get back to us and we have submitted our taxi receipt at their request but have yet to hear back from them. It has been over a week.

Very good tour.
I think that this tour achieved everything that it set out to achieve. Loved Onya, and Colm was great.

Wonderful trip!
We really loved the Scotland tour! We decided to add it on to our original destination of Ireland and we are so glad we did! The tour guide, Di and our bus driver, John were amazing! We saw so much and Di went out of her way to make it extra special for everyone. We enjoyed all the places we visited and the hotels were awesome! Ireland was great too! Lots of beautiful places to see. Our bus driver, Bob was also our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Ireland and its history and locations. Our only recommendation would be to be to reorganize the Dublin portion of the tour. There was a lot of time in Dublin, but it was too broken up to be able to enjoy it as we would have liked. The time in Galway wasn’t worth it. Overall, we loved our trip!
